SPL Homes

FAQ

Straight answers.

If your question is about price or programme, the honest answer is usually: it depends on the site. The planner is still the fastest next step.

Where does SPL Homes build?
The intended market is the Wellington region. Specific suburbs and towns are listed as configurable coverage and should be treated as unconfirmed until SPL Homes marks them as active. Start a project with your address and we will tell you if we can help.
Do you only build new homes?
No. The site is set up for new homes, renovations, extensions, design and build, knockdown and rebuild, property development, and smaller commercial or fit-out work.
How do I get a price?
Use Start your project. We need the type of work, the location and the stage you are at before a figure is meaningful. This website does not publish standard build costs because they would be guessed.
Can you work with my architect?
Yes. We can price and build from a drawing set you already have, or help you through a design-and-build path if you do not.
How long does building consent take?
It depends on the council, the completeness of the application, and whether resource consent is also required. We will not put a typical number on this page because it would be unreliable. We will help you submit a complete package.
Do you offer a fixed price?
Contract structure is discussed once the scope is clear. Nothing on this site should be read as a published pricing model or a guarantee.
What happens after I submit the project planner?
You receive an enquiry reference. SPL Homes reviews the brief and contacts you using the method you preferred. If the project is not a fit, you should still hear back.
Is the photography on this site yours?
Until real project photos are uploaded, some images are labelled placeholders. They are not SPL Homes projects and should not be treated as a portfolio.
